Got married
on June 24th, 2017 — English Inn, Victoria, British Columbia

The Grooms
Wedding Day
Join us for our wedding on June 24th, 2017 – one of the longest days of the year! All festivities will take place at the English Inn, at 429 Lampson Street in Victoria, BC, in Canada. You will want to dress for a fancy garden summer wedding: anything among garden attire, cocktail attire and semi-formal is acceptable. As a portion of the event is outdoors, we recommend being prepared with sun protection, and a light sweater or jacket to ward off that evening chill. Please, do not wear high heels.

English Inn
Our ceremony and reception will be held at the English Inn. This century-old inn is one of Victoria's treasures, featuring Tudor architecture, and intimate gardens. We are looking forward to welcoming you and spending a memorable day on this beautiful estate.

Ceremony
This is where it all begins! The ceremony will start at 3:00 p.m. in a sunken garden. Our celebrant will lead us through a celebration of our relationship, and an exchange of vows. We are delighted to share the moment we become husbands with you.

Garden Party
A cocktail reception will be served in the gardens immediately after the ceremony. The grooms and their wedding party will take photos for a portion of this time. We will spend the rest of the afternoon in the garden eating canapés and playing lawn games.

Supper
Supper will be served at 6:00 p.m. This multi-course family-style feast will satisfy our heartiest eaters and finest palates alike. Let us know in your RSVP if you have any dietary needs. Please note we will dine al fresco in a tent in the gardens.

Dessert & Dancing
After sundown, we will retreat indoors. Since we have the whole house to ourselves for the night, the party goes on as long as we want! Cake, lounge, bar, dancing, board games – choose your revels. Leave your car keys at home: at the end of the night, a driver will be available to take you to wherever you're staying.

Gift Registry
Our registry is with Hudson's Bay Company, on the HBC registry site. You can find our registry either by using our names and wedding information, or by entering the registry code: 400132350156
Although gifts are welcome, they are not expected.

Vancouver
Fun fact: while Victoria is located on Vancouver Island, the city of Vancouver is not. The third largest city in Canada is, however, a few hours away by ferry, or just a 30-minute harbour-to-harbour seaplane ride. You'll want to plan at least two days, as a day trip will likely prove too short to enjoy.
